Hey guys,

I was curious regarding if it would be possible to power a portable GPS unit into the stock W114 cigarette lighter terminal?

I was told that it would not work because the stock terminal can't handle the increased power needed from a GPS unit and it would keep blowing fuses.

Is there a way to upgrade the stock outlet or some other way to get a portable GPS unit to be powered this way?
