I had a very interesting weekend. I went out in search of a new windshield for my car that I found on craigslist and when I got to the guys house he opened his garage and there it was a gorgeous 1966 250se coupe white with cobalt blue top. This is where the day turned out to be amazing I asked if he would be willing to sell the car and he said I was about to advertise it. Then he said he had another in the back I couldn't in my excitement. All said and done I purchased both of them I couldn't resist. I am going to put both of these cars up for sale in the next couple of weeks but wanted to give you guys first crack at them. The white one is a 1966 Mercedes 250se with 137,000 miles runs great automatic with air and sunroof. The blue one is a 1966 Mercedes 250se 80,000 original miles auto air and the engine has less than 3000 miles on it with $11k in receipts. In the deal I also acquired a 1969 Mercedes 280se engine and auto trans complete with fuel injection still in crate freshly rebuilt with receipts of $6500 for rebuild. I am looking to sell all of it for $40k firm or separately at $23k for blue one and $20k for white one. Engine and tranny is $5000.
