Hey guys, I've had my fair share of rare Mercs (C43, C32, E55) but I have never seen a 280 like the one I found. Will one of you classic buffs shed some light on this car?

I agree - it looks like someone chopped the top off, added all the snaps and created a convertible. Did a fairly nice job though.
