Annoying buzzing from dash???

1982 300td
Annoying buzzing from dash???
Heya! I recently got a 1982 300td. I am in love. She is a work in progress, but I just love driving it around.

Recently though, I have gotten a loud buzzing sound from behind the dash. It comes and goes. Generally starts when it gets up to 35-40 mph. It stops when I do. Sometimes it goes away even when I'm up in speed. Any thoughts as to what this might be and what to do about it? Any help would be fantastic! Thanks ya'll!

speedometer cable needs to be cleaned/lubed.

That sounds logical. Thanks! Is that something I need to take to a pro for? I'm somewhat mechanically inclined and have access to tools. I'm trying to learn.
