W111 Head Info

Hi All
Would like to see if anyone can share the torque specs and method with me for an M108 motor. 6 cylinder 2.3 gas motor.
I was also looking to buy head bolts and cannot find any suppliers. Anyone have a source for these?
Many Thanks

What you posted was the engine serial number---a MB VIN is a 17 alphanumeric numeral----simply look at you registration and or bottom drivers side window--wada you see!!

That is the VIN Plutoe. It is a sixties car, way before letters in the VIN. See the pic.
The torque is 80 ftlbs and you should do it in a "spiral" motion from the middle of the head towards the extremities. In two stages, first to 60 ftlbs and then to 80. Drive it 200 miles and retorque them hot. Good luck.
