Fuel regulator not working?

Hey guys and gals so, new to these older Mercedes but nkt new ro cars this one is kicking my *** tho. Been sitting awhile and finally got rhe time to mess with it. Tank is gone pump was trash and plugs were meh. So for the moment I have a gas can with an oem pump inline that's where it gets interesting. I get it to fire if I bypass the regulators but If I apply pressure to the factory regulator that splits off to each rail no fuel comes out. I bought a new regulator but it did the same thing any ideas?

I like your FUYAA, but this time it has its short comings, you need to review the complete fuel system within WIS for the specific VIN
