Any recommendations? They could work on Jeeps for all I care, as long as they're experienced and good.

Just had the Carb on 1961 190b (w121) "restored" by

Not cheap but it came back looking like new and was properly tuned. Apparently they put it on a Mule and adjust it before shipping.
Let me know how it works out.

mine looks very good, even new, doesn't need to come off the car. ill probably wind up doing it myself:
Balance dual carbs
Adjust butterflies
Idle screw
Idle mixture

I just hoped a shop would do all that for maybe 2 hours labor and by default check linkages but i think quality workmanship is dead, especially in So Cal. Mechanics and parts changers everywhere, technicians a dying breed. I've been talking to a lot of recommended and "specialist" shops...very disappointing.

I found a few good youtube videos but i gotta take notes from each and combine data. Each seems to point out particular details and ignore others and i want to do a comprehensive job for my daily driver. I dont think i have any problems, but as a new to me car, I'd like to start off with everything checked and tuned for coastal climate.
