I am the new happy owner of a low mileage (45K) '93 300CE Convertible. The floor mats need replacing. When I removed what appears to be the original mats the metal floor is exposed. There are receivers built into the floor to hold the mats in place. The floor itself is not flat. The original mats are built-up on the bottoms with a foam-type material that makes the mats level on top.
I am considering coco replacement mats but am concerned that any replacement mat will not have the foam-type material that will create a level floor.
Has anyone dealt with this issue?
