R107 1985 380 SL - Stalls after 15 minutes.
After running fine in city stop-and-go traffic 15 minutes, the engine rumbles roughly then stalls dead. After 5 minutes, it starts and runs for a while, then stalls again.
Within the last 5,000 miles, we’ve replaced the water pump, thermostat, timing chain, chain guides, tensioner rail, cleaned idle valve, replaced O2 sensor, replaced thermo time switch, replaced fuel pump control unit relay, cleaned idle control valve, checked fuel lines and fittings, and replaced idle control unit.
It still stalls. If you’ve got any thoughts on solutions to this problem, please help. Thank you!

fuel filter?
No check engine light? This should have OBD1
Intake leak? spray around with starting fluid and see if engine races when spray hits particular area.
Check Spark, Air, Fuel & Compression

Thanks!
Thanks for your note.
Engine warning light does not appear prior to stall or any time.
I'm pretty sure my mechanic uses an OBD1 scanner on my car, since he works with a lot of older Porsches, but I'll check with him.
(I know the compression is good). Will discuss your other suggestions with him.
Appreciate your thoughts and kindness.
