'05 C230 Prepaid Maintenance

Anyone get the prepaid maintenance for '05? I bought my car this past Saturday and the option was presented to me to prepay the maintenance for the first 3 yrs for $800 + change (don't remember exact price). I believe this will save a few hundred $ and is probably a good idea. I'm thinking of buying it in May, has anyone else done so?

That's an average of 266 per service (once a year for three years). Is that really a good deal??

actually if that covers A and B services that is worth it as i think the B service is really expensive.....It also depends on how much you drive as the A and B services are directly related to how many miles you drive. I think around every ~10k miles a service is due.......

Perhaps. But if you're paying for it yourself, you can take it anywhere. I'm sure you can find an independent mechanic that can do the A and B service for less than that.

Yes it covers A and B service and anything else for 3 yrs. The first service would be less than $266, but I'm sure the third would be much higher.

MB service goes A B A B. Therefore the 3rd one is not higher than the 1st one. And no, it doesn't cover anything else, speak wear items.
