I called the dealership yesterday to schedule an appt for a few things. One of the questions that I had was if I could schedule my B service right before my warranty was to expire. She said that unless the mileage called for it to be done they would not do it. I have about 6400 miles to go for my B service but my warranty expires around Christmas time of this year.
Do I have to use my car and rack the miles up on it or was this person wrong?

I think this is really a dealer's option/policy. I was in a couple thou before my A service was due at 50K to have a few things taken care of and they jumped right in and did the A service under the warranty.
Is this the dealer where you bought your car? Were you talking with your (or a) service advisor or just the bonehead that answers the phone? If you have an advisor my guess is they'll take care of you unless it's really blatant (like you're 5K from the service or something like that). If you put on normal miles you should be within 1K of it or so by Christmas time, so that should be within their window. Like I said, though, it may be just dealer's option.
Good luck and enjoy the ride,
Greg
