Thinking about getting an S class. Opinions needed.
Hey all,
I am a newbie here. I am thinking about getting a 1994 or a 1995 S500. I don’t know which year is better but I heard that after 1998 the quality went down. Currently I own 2 Lincolns, one is a 1994 Town Car and the other is the 1997 Mark VIII LSC. I am getting really sick of my daily trips to the dealer. One car is in and the other is out. I have invested a fortune in these cars. I love the ride quality of a Lincoln but I just want a reliable car that will not fall apart on me. Few of my friends have the mid 90's S classes and they are not complaining. I was just wondering if somebody would chime in and let me know about common problems that these cars have had and if there is something to watch for when buying one. I am a car dealer myself so I can get one at the auction for a fairly good price. Just let me know if the S class is worth the money or if it’s going to be another money pit. Thanks.
