1991 Mercedes-Benz 300D 2.5 Turbo
Help!
I have found a nice Mercedes, but I cannot determine what kind it is. Could someone please help me? The car supposedly came over from Germany, and was a European only car. He thought it was a 250SE. Upon further examination, it was a 1982, which, they didn't make 250SEs then. The car, unfortunately, is unmarked. Also, it was noted that it was an AMG. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures, but I might be able to post some later. Would you have any clue as to what it was? It was a decent sized car, but not huge either. I wanted to look at the engine, but I couldn't ind the hood release 
Anyway, is this really not a 1982, and it's really newer, or is it an '82?

I didn't want to get too close because there was a hornets nest built in one of the head-lights (it's really quite a disgrace how they treat this Benz.....I hate to see how it just sits there and literally rots). I can however post the picture I did take. I might go up there sometime and bring along my own hornet spray so I can take better pictures. I wanted to look at the engine, but I couldn't find a trunk release....it's not near the driver's seat (that I know of), and it's not in the glove box, any ideas where it is?
