Free Tires under Warranty?
Are FREE TIRES part of 2003 MB warranty only for S- class? What about 2002 CLK's and other passenger cars?
In an article today in the Miami Herald on the S430, the following appears:
"Let's not call this Mercedes stress-free. But Mercedes has indeed
gone the extra mile to help make things easier. Helping even more
is its four-year, 50,000-mile warranty that includes free tires,
batteries and regular maintenance."

hrmm..interesting. I know the tires on my C32 are not covered under warranty for normal wear and tear. I'm not too sure about the S-class though. I would go ask a MB dealer directly.

Tires
I could be mistaken, but I believe tires are covered only by their respective manufacturers. New car buyers should receive a warranty brochure from the manufacturer when given their owners manual, etc. It seems logical that tires would be considered a wear item, hence not covered.

They said that it is misinformation, there is NO change in the warranty. No free tires. Sorry.
