swapping the head unit.
Given you have the tools and all you are gonna do is swap one head unit for another on a w211,(US to EURO) how long should it take? 30 min? 5 min? 1 hour?

I'm assuming you mean you are swaping for an aftermarket HU. If that's the case, I'd say an hour at absolute max. That includes the time to assemble the wiring harness properly and get it in the car. Really you're looking at 30-40 min.
