Which MB to buy...
Hi guys!
I'm looking for a Mercedes for around $4-5K or less. I want to have some advice on what to buy.
I'm trying to find something with a more modern look, and possibly some room for modification (performance-wise).
Please tell me your ideas, and possibly post a picture or something of what it looks like!

You could try looking at the late 80's to early 90's 190E or 300E. It may be possible to find an early model C-class from the mid 90's but I wouldn't really count on it. As for performance modification friendly ones, I wouldn't know of any. If you seek some performance, the 560SEL may (from '86-91) be a better choice but does not look as modern as the 190E/300E in my opinion.
Of course, looking for a car in that price range may very well cost you even more money in the end if the car was not maintained well.
