Anyone else in the Seattle area see this on PBS last night? Pretty cool show with lots of MB racing and John Fitch history.

A GULLWING AT TWILIGHT: THE BONNEVILLE RIDE OF JOHN FITCH is a visually striking, one-hour documentary profiling one of motor sport's most enduring legends. Shot on location at Utah's beautiful Bonneville Salt Flats, the film documents 87-year-old racer John Fitch's attempt to set a Bonneville class speed record in a classic 1955 Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. Fitch made his mark in racing, speedway design and technical innovation, and is counted among the post-war era's elite 'gentleman racers.' In a life defined by adventure (he was a World War II fighter pilot and a **** prison camp survivor), Fitch has always managed to stay one step ahead of disaster, often walking away from spectacular crashes. A GULLWING AT TWILIGHT is a fascinating look at a man who refuses to allow age - or danger - dictate the course of his life.
