Hid Kits For Benz??? Help
Need some help in deciding how to upgrade my factory halogen lights to a 6000K xenon lights. Has anyone bought from
http://www.hids4less.com. Apparently they make very high
quality HID kits.
1. Has anyone bought from this place
2. Good/Bad
3. Quality
4. DIY or professional installation
Can anyone can give me some insights into
what to look out for when purchasing such a kit, I would appreciate it. I dont' wanna purchase the OEM HID kit, because i just think the emission of light isn't as bright, compared to Acura or Audi HID kits.
Let me know, what is the best route to take. Thanks,
djamer

it's their billing/customer service that is spotty. personally, i had 4 wrong charges (and 3 refunds) on my credit card. the last one was out of the blue a couple months after i thought everything was done. i called them and they say they had no record of charging me... again... so i had to dispute the charge w/ my credit card (they sent me a letter to sign) to remove the charge.
i actually headed the groupbuy - and about 5 people (out of about 18+) had problems w/ billing and service. almost everyone had delays in delivery. but everyone was happy w/ the product.
3 people got the stage 1 kits. everyone else got stage 2. the 4300°K is better for visibility (a little) and the 6000°K looks better. up to you to decide which is for you. if you're looking for the white lights, definitely get the stage 2 b/c my stage 1's are slightly yellow.

if i had to do it over again, i'd just get the philips kit from autolamps.

<strike>finally, it was indeed a DIY job, but note that you still need to take the car in to the dealer for the computer setting.</strike> actually, i just noticed you have 2002 clk. you may not have to do the computer setting.
the kits are fine.
