Classic car - a 180?

There've been a couple of threads on here recently - "Top 10 greatest Mercedes ever" and another one - that mentioned classic old mercedes. The other thread, which seems to have disappeared, mentioned the 180 from the 1950s.

So I thought I'd show you one we went in recently, in Myanmar. We were just walking along the street when we saw it parked, and we stopped to look.

The owner told us that it was a 180 from the 1950s, and that he now used it as a luxury chauffeur service (most other "luxury chauffeur" services in Myanmar will offer you a late-80s Camry, and taxis are often 60s and 70s Mazdas and Toyotas). After we'd chatted for a bit, he said he had the afternoon off, and that he'd take us for a drive round town for US$5. I was more than happy to agree.

It was a lovely car, and in brilliant condition considering it had been in a tropical climate for the last 50 years. I did feel like royalty being driven around in it. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures - enjoy.
