Are there any Reptulable MB shops you guys know of in the Concord area
There is one called VIP Smog on Contra Costa Blvd that everybody should stay away from. It took them 4 weeks to change my serp. belt on my Audi and they put the wrong brake pads on my pops ML, changed the p/s hose when it was the p/s unit that needed a replacement. Just don't want to deal with shops such as VIP smog.
Quotes I got from MB of Walnut creek on 01/08/07:

Transmission fluid $400.oo+
Rear diff $250.oo+
Spark plugs $420.oo+ ( thinking about attempting myself )
Serp. belt $80.oo+
Coolant flush $200.oo+
Front pads/rotors $700.oo+ ( I will do myself )
There were a couple of other things I got quoted for that I can't remember
right now that ran the bill up to 2800-3000 ballpark. So some of the work I will do myself, some at the Dealership and others at a Indepent shop that are
reptulable and I can trust wont -F- up my car.
