I assume you are liking a sporty style. You should go with a black grille, black wheels? and tinted tails? maybe.

The car at the top of this thread looks like it's missing something. It doesn't look cool. looks like someone stole the chrome rather than blacked it out. Here is a better idea.
Here is another white car for reference. Blacked out fins, but chrome in tact. much nicer IMHO

They are a good company and reliable, this is where I'm going to order a blacked out grille...once I get the cash.

Warning about your K&n air filter!!!!

Hey, good looking Benz you got there. I have the same (2000 white e-430 sport tuned and lowered an inch and a half with Bilstein and Eibach components on staggered 20" Brabus wheels, projection headlights, xenon conversion, high flow intake, the works. Anyhow, through much headache and money, I discovered the hard way not to put a K&N air filter in mine. I noticed you also upgraded to a K&N, but I tell you this as a major caution unless you don't mind dishing out $600 for a new mass air sensor.
The oils on the air filter (used to trap more dirt) get blown off the filter screen and sucked into the mass air sensor. The sensor module is constructed of, I wanna say titanium, or something equivalent. Once those oils bond to the module, it renders it virtually useless. This happens over the course of a few thousand miles or so. Once your mass air sensor fails, your engine begins to deteriorate as you are not receiving the proper air/fuel mixture, and resulting in degraded combustion.
So, after visiting my local MB dealership, they had even advised me not to put the K&N filter on it. Unfortunately there are no warnings listed on the box of the filter.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to write back to me. I don't want you to have to pay out the wahzoo for an easy fix. It sucks that you won't be able to use your K&N, but it is better than buying a new sensor. Trust me, I know. I paid $55 for the filter and over $600 for the new sensor.
