i have a w202 benz and ive been tryin for like 30 min to remove the hood star without destroying it, how the hell do you do it???? theres like a spring in the center and something on the sides? how can it be removed safely???????? thanks

there is a little peice thing on opposite sides on the inside of the badge, just twist that in a 90 degree angle and it will pop out.

i also wanted to remove the trunk emblem, how you do that? if you use a flathead screwdriver will you not damage the paint to pry it off?
