New owner of 84 300D: mechanic in Raleigh NC?

I love my mechanic but he works on gas AND everybody (none of them own a Mercedes) says to get a real Mercedes mechanic.

Anyone know anyone within 50 miles of Raleigh NC?

Also this beautiful auto arrived without and owner's manual and there are lots of gadgets on this thing! Anyone know where to get one?

Thanks,

Connie

I've had good luck with First Class Auto in north Raleigh by Triangle Town Center. They've done a good job with my old BMWs. The MB diesels are like old volvos. Only about 5 moving parts, so everyone can fix them!

Mechanic In The Raleigh Area

I live in Durham and have a 88 560SEC. This guy that lives in Efland has worked on my SEC for years. He is the BEST and very reasonable. Will not overcharge and will explain in detail everything he is doing and why. He has a very nice setup in his back yard with all the diag equipment and plenty of nice clean workspace. If you are interested write back. Incidentally, Efland is less than 50 miles from Raleigh. One exit down from the I-40/I-85 intersection going towards Greensboro.
