Question about Difference in E 350 and E 550

Obviously, the name E 550 sounds a lot better and is more prestigious than an E 350 and here is my situation so I would appreciate any replies and feedback.

If both cars were fully loaded (with sports package and the p1 and p2 package) then are the cars identical other than the engine and the tag? I am 23 years old, and I can afford the lease payments for the E 550 because I found a deal for about 800/month but then maybe I can get an E 350 for around 550 a month i'm guessing because of the lease specials that are out on these cars right now. I live in Southern California and obviously I care about having the best of things and an image bla bla...but then I was thinking...I don't really drive my cars fast and I will not really be using the E 550 engine and I will only be getting the E 550 for the name...unless there are any sort of differences with the cars? I am in a sticky situation and one second I say E 550 is worth the difference because of the name but in another second I say, i'm still 23 and it's still a damn nice car. I know the MSRP for E 550 is like 63,000 or so I think the E 350 is like 49,000 or so? I appreciate the help in my dilemma because I am going to be getting one of these cars in the next few days...

Question E350/e550

If money is no object (and you just said it is not) I would much prefer owning an E550. I think fully loaded they are the same car except for the engine, but you will pay for a couple of options (one example: MB-Tex is standard on E350, leather is $2000 more) and there are bound to be a couple more things like that.

Go to the MBUSA.com website, and then to the Build Your Own section. Load them both up and compare the prices. I think the site works really well, and you will probably enjoy that little exercise.

One more thing, the website allows you to compare at least 2 models side-by side. Obviously, choose the E350 vs. the E550 and you can go down the list, item-by-item, and compare practically anything you can think of.

Just for kicks, throw the E55 (if still available) or the E63 into the mix; both of those are BEASTS my friend!

Ones a V6 and the other is a V8 . LOL J/K

I'm almost 29yrs old and in my opinion I'd get the E550 just because of the 382 HP performance it has. Now the E63 is a whole different league here

E 550 has leather
it's heavier
has cooler rims (imo)
It has auto leveling
apparently heated seats are standard (I doubt this..lol)
has more Power!
