Benz newbie needs gas!

I can't seem to find the gas latch on my 2000 s430! I read the manual and it said something about the latch was in the trunk?? My husband just bought me the car and it's a major upgrade for me from my simple Toyota Camry. Can someone please help me. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

apply pressure with your hand on the right side of the gas flap...it should flip open, the latch in the trunk is the emergency one or something like that, i believe...

Just make sure the car is not locked first. The gas flap locks automatically along with the door. Otherwise it just swings open.
