Moved 5 cars from San Jose, CA to Round Rock, TX, using two auto transportation services. I recommend either of these:
Phillips Transport
based in Red Bluff, CA (530) 510-0742
V&I Express
based out of Citrus Heights, CA (916) 275-8033
Both are independents and their trucks are not flashy. But all my Mercedes and others arrived in Texas in excellent shape, albeit with a few extra bugs. But since I do not have any show cars, a quick visit to the car wash was all that was needed. They will pick-up and drop-off wherever (within reason) you want; virtually door-to-door. You can call for quotes and their prices were reasonable. Door-to-door time for mine was 7 to 10 days, depending on driving conditions. Coast-to-coast would be longer.
The key is to schedule EARLY. If you wait too long, the trucks will not be able to put you on their route in a logical sequence. Obviously, they plan their pick-ups and drop-offs accordingly.
