Hard to find info...

I'm trying to find out what a top-of-the-line E Class (430?) sticker priced for when it was brand spanking new as a model year 2000 new car at the average U.S. MB dealership.
I know this all sounds kinda convaluted and all, but here's what I'm doing.
I want to find out what it cost brand new, and what it would Kelly Blue Book for today. That percentage of average decline in value. I would then apply it to what an E500 stickers for today, and what it will likely be worth in Fall 2006 (2007 model year release).
If it goes down toooooo drastically, I will keep my pennies where they are and look toward a 2007 S-500 (second model year of new design). If I wouldn't lose too too too much money/value, I'd go ahead with a 2004 E-500, and then cash it out/sell it in Fall 2006 and apply that money combined with pennies being saved or to be saved to then move up and in to an S-500.
So if I don't lose too much money, I can enjoy a 2004 E-500 for several years, and then move up to the S-500 in 2007. If I'd lose too much money (subjective, I know), then I'd just flat out wait and scrimp so I can step straight into an S-500 in 2007 without having the pleasure of the MB experience for the intervening several years.
Whew.
Thanks for any/all input,

Glad to be of some help. Just happened to use
that site when I researched my 99 before I bought it.
