Seems the seller is taking a MIGHTY big loss if true.
RPV is a VERY nice part of the world...it was at one time more exclusive (housing pricewise) than Beverly Hills or Bel-Air, but not as nice anymore due to proximity of less attractive nearby cities.
However, the zero feedback and the ridiculously low price makes me immediately suspicious that this is fake.

................I think I have dealt with this guy before. It is a scam. I was contacted at the end of an auction that I bid on but did not win. He tells me that the winner failed to pay up and that he will give me a discount if i was "serious." Being ser"serious" meant that I should send him 10% deposit by money order to arrive ASAP. Otherwise he will find another more "serious" person. I asked for addition pics of the interior of the car..........he vanished. Then I noticed that the pics were magazine pics. The same as the pics in this auction. Look closely........the terrain and everything are from a magazine. There is no car.

I noticed that the pics were all from a brochure or mag. My first thought was why AMG would do a custom job on this 1 car when the E55 is coming out in the next model year.
I wonder if there is anyone dumb enough to send $$.

He told me...
I emailed the guy. He said his company makes aftermarket parts for MB and they bought this one for measuring/fitting/etc.
His email addy had a commercial domain name (I have it on my home computer) I looked em up to see if they had a web site. They did. They are a fabrication type shop in Carson, CA. I didn't think to email or call the fabrication shop to confirm they are indeed selling the MB AMG, but if you were a serious bidder, you could.
Then I'd go and pay em directly and see the car directly instead of using paypal, ebaypay or whatever else.
