Fake benz wheels?

Fake benz wheels?
Are the wheels below legit? i was hearing that a guy got them off ebay for around 300 bucks and ended up selling them for over 1000. I ask because i know the guy that bought them and i've never seen these wheels on a benz before... thanks for any help...

Doubt very much if they are legit MB wheels unless they were not made for the US or European markets which I also doubt. Have never seen anything like them before and quite frankly I do not think the are attractive at all.

the vw golf 5 shares the same bolt pattern as MB.
the golf 4 had a 5x100 pattern.
many aftermarket wheels are offered in multiple pcd's which include 5x100/5x112
the wheels are definitely fake though
