repairing damaged side skirt
my wife backed into a rock and cracked a side skirt in the s55. i cannot see the damage because it is way underneath, but was wondering if i can put a metal pc. behind and glue into place to reinforce the skirt at the crack. what kind of glue should i use to bond the joint? thanks

Why not just have it repaired correctly instead of doing a shade tree patch. After all its an S Class.

you have to stand on your head to see the hairline crack underneath. i am looking for a replacement but considering just repairing behind the crack. i see epoxy repair kits available. just looking for suggestions. thanks

Debadged 6-Speed '05 C320 Sports Coupe
Two-part epoxy should work. Ensure the surfaces are really clean first.

Fiberglass it with matt from the back side and it will be there for good. Glues will break when it flexes.
