amg exhaust tip question~ please help!

hi, i have a cls 500 and i want to change to the amg quad tips. i found some e 55 quad tips and i was wondering if it will fit? i am aware that i need to cut the bumper and such. when i look under a e 55 and cls 55, the exhaust seems very similar or even the same. i heard that e 55 and cls 55 share the same tips.

I'm doing the opposite of you. I have an E500, but bought used CLS55 mufflers/quad tips.

I have not welded the new muffler on yet, but I checked out the exhausts of the E55 and CLS55 at my local dealer, and they are *almost* the same dimensions...close enough where I think it should fit easily

I bought it used from a forum member. They don't come by often, so keep checking often. Try PM'ing i3mike. I was talking to him about his AMG exhaust. He doesn't have it for sale - it's still on the car, but he may buy an aftermarket exhaust and sell his. He has a CLS55, so should fit your car easily
