Wink What would you go for: CLS or SLK?

yeah yeah i know both are completely different......
but ive always loved the SLK
but its small, and only fits 2 ppl

the cls is bigger etc, but i feel the styling will go out of date quicker, and the interior is a bit werid for me, feels old school....

Anyway, both have ups and downs, but any advice?

im planning to part exchange my X5 for one of these (probably used) in the next few months (before next year)

i ruled out the CLK cos a new model is due next year, and i want a new-ish car this year

Yeah they are two kinds of cars...

Because I like both for different reasons....CLS Big and Bossy it looks more
corporate like a business person.

The SLK is like a Honda S2000 to me but just a Benz which makes it that much
better! :]

Do you have kids? If not i'd just get a SLK AMG and live your life in the fast
lane....literally!

I Mean they are both about $60,000.

a question like that can only be answered by you.

CLS and SLK are completely two different genres of cars.

What are YOUR needs and wants?
Going by people's opinions on an open forum is only going to confuse and frustrate the issue.

For pros and cons, ask those questions on the respective CLS and SLK sections of this forum.
Ask individually for SLK and CLS. Or better yet, just search the threads and make up your own mind.

I think you ruled out the CLK for the wrong reason man. ...Simply wait for the new model to come out....then buy one. By the time you make up your mind, it will be on the showroom floor. LoL!

Seriously, I wouldn't get an SLK unless it was the 55...but it's too expensive. Also, everyone I know (personally) with a CLS has been replacing tires too often. Be careful with that one.

Get the CLK man...it's the best car in the Benzo stable. Just keep the X5 until then.
