2003 e320 wagon (210 chassis NOT a 211))
interior specs
How are interior specs like headroom, legroom, etc. measured? Is there a standard published somewhere such that all cars are measured the same way? I mean, leg room can be anything depending on where you have the seat positioned... same for headroom: it depends on seat height (if adjustable) and seat fore/aft position (as some roofs have bumps in them).
I recently checked out a 2004 e320 wagon. I'm very concerned with headroom and legroom. Edmunds.com shows that the 2004 is the same or slightly larger in EVERY interior spec measured, when compared to a w210 (2000 to 2003) wagon. THIS IS FAR FROM TRUE.
For me (6'7" tall) the w211 has less headroom for me, and the rear seat legroom is less too; both by about 1.5 inches.
