Homelink - can two cars be set to open rolling code openner?
I've got a 99 ML320 and we just picked up our 2002 C230K.
Both have the remote homelink buttons to open the garage doors. One of my garage door openers is a Genie that has a rolling code, and the ML is already programmed to open that door (and the other non-rolling code door).
Since you have to train the Genie opener to know your remote, can I have both cars be set to open that door or will it only recognize one remote?
The light cover on the Genie screws on, so I have to get up on the ladder and unscrew it to get to the training button, and if it's not going to work I'd rather not mess with it, and then have to retrain the ML.
Thanks

You can have both cars set and it will pose no problem. I beleive with Genie you can set up to 6 or 7 remotes with the rolling technology.

i had a wierd thing happen...
i use the same homelink button for two different openers. Both openers are the smae brand but at two different houses. I thought one would cancel the other out but it didnt.
