Daily - CL600
My Trunk Isn't Popping Correctly?
Hey guys,

It's a bit colder out around here now & I noticed the trunklid on my CL600 is having trouble opening all the way. It makes it about halfway at best usuallly, but occasionally it only opens a few inches!

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

2005 clk500
My 2005 CLK 500 had the same problem...
I had the same issue with my CLK500 (would not open all the way)and I took it to the dealer and they made an adjustment on the springs and now it opens all the way. The service manager stated it was a common repair.

yeah. with just a little adjustment and you're problem will be solved. (LOL! my friend who is a mechanic is ryt here beside me, ryt now.)

I had the springs adjusted today and it is popping excellently again.
