Which Mercedes To Buy
I am interested in a highly reliable 4 door MB to replace my 2002 BMW M3. BMW service is too far away and with 160 k miles, the trips for repair are increasing. MB has a dealer in my neighborhood so I am interested in a recommendation for a good replacement. I am not sure what the difference between the sedan and coupe is but a 4 door vehicle seems easier than the current wider doors on my M3. I have looked at the MB website at the C and E class but have not gone to the dealer yet. The AMG version would be of interest if anyone out there can comment on their experience - reliability. My price range is probably up to 80-90k. This will be a daily driver (and my first MB)with snow tires in the winter, in central and western Maryland. Comments and thoughts are very much appreciated!!!

Get An E550
The E-class might seem a little big at first but it has great lines, very dependible with good power and not bad MPG, and with that much cash you could buy brand new. I have a 2005 CLK500 and just love it, but my next Mercedes Benz will be an E-Class.
Also- the two door does get old when you have a family.
