can i get MBUSA EXT warranty @ 60kmiles?
I have a friend that just bought a 99 clk with 60k miles from a private dealer. Is it possible for him to get a MBUSA extended warranty to cover him to about 100k? Or does he have to go through a 3rd party?

MBUSA extended premium warranty is available only during the first year. Second best is the Daimler-Chrysler extended warranty, if the car is to be serviced at an authorized MB service center.
A third party warranty often involves: You pay for repair and collect from your 3rd party insurer; because - most of these insurers are not listed in the MBUSA database.
At any rate, your friend would be well advised, to discusses his extended warranty options with the MB service center, if that is his choice for future service for his MB car.
