E 350 Coupe: Triumph Bonneville
ECU tuning

I have anew E 350 coupe. I am no mechanic and I barely passed HS physics. So, can anyone please tell me about the ECU tuning that is available? Does it void the warrenty? Does it effect the mileage? Will the dealer have heart failure when he finds out I did this to a perfectly good car? LOL Help!

Yes!
I haven't done any ecu tuning yet but I would think that your dealer wouldn't be too happy about it. As soon as you start messing with the onboard computer to increase power, torque, timing, and etc, it would void the warranty. Most dealers that I come across don't even want you to change the tire size or have bigger wheels because it alters the "factory" performance. I might be wrong, but it doesn't hurt to ask the dealer.

Oh yeah, you could try Renntech, Brabus, Kleeman, and a bunch of other aftermarket tuners that could power up your car. Nice coupe, by the way.
