Bit of a dilemna
So as you guys know someone rear ended my w202 and its salvage now..
i know insurance is going to take its sweet time with my check.. so i have an old 87 w124 sitting at home.. should i buy a new car (used) or should i fix the 124..
the only thing i hate about the w124 is how big it is (it's very hard to park with those tiny mirrors), how much gas it eats, and the ac controls and spark plugs are pretty dated.. other than that.. the seats are comfy, the rides good.. so i really am not sure what to do.. oh i'm a student by the way..
and no civic is not an option.. once you go rear wheel drive.. you get addicted to the handling if you know what i mean
thanks guys

I would take that money, and get yourself maybe a W203 C230 Sport. They can be had pretty cheap nowadays. They usually go for the $20k range with decent miles on them. the W124, was a sweet ride back in the day. But old technology, and can be pricey getting things fixed. But hell your young......

I could also drill another hole in each bucket and buy some hose attachments and convert it to a flood and drain system, this would need me to tie the plants down again and deny me the SOG method 'cos the buckets are too big.

I was using 15l buckets filled with clay pebbles on a drip system, problem I had was the drippers kept blocking. I'd like to get the room going again but I'm unsure which way to go ie drip again, convert to flood and drain or set up a bubbler system.
