MB Extended Warranty - What NOT covered
For the last three days, I searched and read gazillion thread regarding extended warranty. I found threads regarding the cost. There were threads on what covered. I got a pamplet from my credit union (SchoolFirst FCU)extended warranty and compared it with MB extended warranty. I found out that MB warranty doesn't cover lots of "items" that my CU cover. Here is a list of what NOT listed on MB extended warranty. Other members please add or remove items from the list. I am new to this extended warranty.

- Timing chain housing
- Balance shafts
- Crankshaft pulley
- Valve cover
- Oil pan
- Oil Pump
- Presure relief valve
- Engine oil cooller hoses
- Oil filter adapter/housing
- Engine oil sending unit
- Water pump (MB cover collant pump) is it the same?
- Temperature sending unit
- Thermostat and housing
- Vacuum pump
- Push rod
- Cam tower
- Engine oil sending unit
- Temperature sending unit
- Valves and guides
- Valves springs
Please add more to this list if I missed anything. I don't know most of the parts list above. I am not a mechanic.

Does anyone has fax machine that I can fax the hard copy to you? There are so many to list and I am not good at understand the parts. I can fax to you then you can scan it to your pc and post the file here.
