Dallas TX Safety Inspection (Window Tint)
Guys - I failed the Texas State Inspection on my car because of dark tint on my front windows. I had 20% in the front put in like 3 years ago, but the inspection guys' meters read it at 12%.
Can anyone recommend a shop in the Dallas (Uptown/North Dallas/Richardson/Plano) where they'll pass me without having to remove the tint?
Everything else is ship-shape with the car!
Thx in advance!

In Richardson/Garland area on Beltline between Shiloh and Jupiter, $10 off regular price.
Don't remember name of the shop but you will see the $10 OFF sign out front.
My car has 20% up front and 5% in back, no problem.

It's gonna be a challenge because your tint isn't legal. The front side windows have to be 25%. Here is a link to the Texas DPS page with tinting information: http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/vi/Misc/faq/tint.htm
Sorry, no recommendation on an inspection shop. I have been told the state is cracking down on inspection shops, and have experienced that they no longer pass stuff which wasn't an issue for years. I had to remove the tint band at the top of the windshield on my 124 sedan. It had been there without any issue for more than 10 years.
