MB says getting pounded in Europe
I guess after all the years of poor quality vehicles has really caught up to MB. In Europe and in Asia Audi is surpassing and beating MB in sales. This is done without any new vehicle introductions by Audi. The A4 is a 3 years old the A6 is very old and a new one should be coming in a year or so and the new A8 is not enough to affect sales even if it is new. MB has just released the E and I guess the design has not helped them in sales.

audi just did a good job of advertising and engaging their client base/target markets...

I said all the past years of bad quality caused many customers to go to a different brand.
If you think it is all advertising than you better stop being such a fanboy. For your information Audi is making the biggest wave is in Europe especially the motherland Germany. Where they actually know what they are driving and don't buy a brand just because it is an MB, BMW or Audi. To them these are just local cars not highly advertised luxury cars. E-class are taxis.
I have owned 2 BMW, 2 Audi's, and 3 MB's in the last 10 years and let me tell you each has it's great characteristics and at the current time Audi has just a little more.
