MB Takes GM To Court
MB has sued General Motors over the design of the grill on the new Hummer H2. Supposedly GM stole the grill design on the G-Class and implemented it into their new Hummer H2. I saw this on MSNBC last night, but have not been able to find an article about it online.
What are your thoughts on this? I went to hummer.com and looked at the new H2 and the grill on it somewhat resembles the that of a Galendewagon; but if nobody said anything I never would have noticed it.
Thanks

Out Of Control!!
I think it looks more like the original H1 (Middle Pic) Than the G-Class. In the pic, the top is the new H2, the middle is the H1, and the bottom is the MB G500.

Correct manufaucturers but wrong divisions.
Not unless there is a new suit. MSNBC would be the first on it.

Yeah, I looked on the MSNBC website and couldn't find anything about it. Mabye GM used a prototype grill from the G Class, rather than the final production one?

I beleave that it's Daimler-Chrysler not Mercedes whom are suing GM because of the resemblance to the traditional Jeep grille.
I beleave theres some history to do with Hummer having some relationship to the original ****** company and therefore some rights to the grille design.
All good fun!
