New to the forum

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and I finally found the courage to register.

What do I mean by courage?

I read some of the post (past and present). I noticed some members DO NOT hold back from flaming each other, especially when some of the post are not or correct or better yet, "technically/politically correct". Scary stuff man!!!

So I know what NOT to do: "DO NOT post messages that may lead to "shove it up your #$%" discussion, unless you have written documents to back it up."

Welcome to the forum. It's not really that bad for flaming here compared to other forums, except where HPS is concerned.

Thanks Lynn!

Yeah, it was actually the thread on HPS that I read. Anyway, I will stay out of that conversation.

I forgot to mention to the members the cars I currently own...

1996 C36 AMG - lots and lots of goodies...garaged, never seen rain, just tap water

1998 Honda Accord - stock, as it should! driven daily and going for the record with most door dings

2000 E55 AMG - lots and lots of goodies...seen the rain by accident, still prefer to have tap water

2002 BMW X5 4.6is - stock, as it should! Driven daily...seen it all, except mud, BMWs and mud just dont get along

2003 E55 - On Order...delivery date, June 14th...will garage in a museum, j/k

And for all you speed demons out there...I thought I say this incase we happen to meet on the road. Call me grandpa (even though Im only light years away), call me chicken, call me what you want thats ok with me. I do drive my AMGs to their maximum potential, but only when I'm sure no one else will get hurt.

I DO NOT race for following reasons:
1. I dont want to see my car in a body/mechanics shop (except for modifications)
2. I don't plan to stay at a free motel (jail)
3. I rather give my money to a family member than to Uncle Sam (for ticket fines and legal fees)
4. Last and most meaningful: I want to live long enough to enjoy my time with my friends and families and of course to see as many AMG cars in future production.
