buying first MB, need advice

Hi all, just joined the forum, it's looks like a really great resource. Anyway I'm looking to buy my first Mercedes and wanted to get some advice on years/models. I've test driven E55, E63, CLK63, SL55. My favourite body styles are the E55 and W215 CL.

Currently there are 3 local candidates:

a 2003 E55

I've seen the CL, but I'd rather have an AMG car, so I'm gonna go check out the two E55s this weekend.

Also like the C63 but having trouble finding one locally in my pricerange (up to around $40k or so)

You might get more traffic if you post them in the AMG forums. Those folks are very knowledgeable.

Before I bought my CLK500, I was interested in a CLK55 or CLK63 but then found out that everything is twice costly as a regular one ... so I decided to go with a regular V8 instead.
