Apparently MBUSA has taken over Smart distribution, etc. from Roger Penske. How do you feel about this?
Personally I think Mr. Penske may have gotten the better of this deal.

Smart has been sold through M-B dealerships in Canada for years now and doesn't seem to have diluted the brand at all, in fact my dealership's opinion is that whatever brings people through the front door is a good thing. Many potential Smart buyers have ended up buying a B-Class and in a few cases even a C-Class.
It's not a case of "bait and switch" it's just that a lot of people are intimidated by M-B and BMW dealerships but when they do venture in they're sometimes pleasantly surprised by their options.
