Mercedes Benz C280
odometer rollover

I WOULDLIKE TO RESET MY SPEEDOMETER READING ON MY C280.IS IT ADVISABLE TO DO IT

It's possible to reset the odometer to the correct mileage but you have to go to your authorized mercedes benz dealership. I think they have to document it also.

I've heard of folks correcting the odometer in the event of replacing same, particularly if a used unit. I'd have to agree that it would have to be documented ( at least here in the States) probably by a dealier, mechanic or registration authority.

But dude, to roll back an odometer for any other reason is fraud, and really "bad form"
