what are your requirements?
You want a two door or four door? You want manual or automatic? Its a wild question without the info. Are you just looking for people to tell you which they like best? Cause thats a waste of your time. Who cares... tell folks what you need and then they may be able to give you more input to your question. They are all great, fun cars to drive but all different. If I had a big family then some of them models are immediately eliminated. If its just one person then you need to figure out what you want to drive. As an all around car the C32 is hard to beat. It has the qualities of all the cars mentioned however its a four door automatic. How sweet it is.

Owning a MB or BMW is a pleasure. Owning a Porsche is a privelege. As long as your getting the Cab. Otherwise, SLK32... or M3 Cab.... Just make sure it's a convertible this time around!

I had the choice between a C32, CLK55, SLK32 and an M3 aswell. I chose the C32 for a few reasons.
CLK55- Fantastic car, but the CLK body style will be changing in the 2003 model year and that has some downsides.
M3- Tis' a BMW, 'nuff said. (Please send all hatemail to john@angelownersgroup.com, Thanks!)
SLK32- Very nice car, and not having any back seats is sort of an inconveniance. Although I will be the only person driving it and I do not have kids or anything I don't need back seats, but they are just good to have. I partake in many hobbies that require a back seat.
C32- What more could you ask for? The only Mercedes Benz that I would rather have than a C32 would be an S55, but by the time I am through with an S55 it will be double the cost of a C32. The C32 is the newest, freshest AMG on the block.
I'm going to move this thread to the General Mercedes forum since this is dealing with a wide variety of AMG's rather than just specifically the CLK55.

If you just have the extra money then get the CLK55 even a nice used on would do, then send it to Kleeman/Renntech for some performance and handling mods and have a 911 eater
