How did you get into Mercedes?
Well I wasn't sure if there was a topic about this. How did you get into cars? Or specifically cars? My story:
My Dad was a Mercedes Benz mechanic for 20-years at a dealership in New Jersey before passing away. He'd always tell me the stories and I'd ask questions about the engines, the models. "Oh Dad, what was the problem? How did you fix it?" and he'd tell me. He'd always bring home a Mercedes. Mostly W124's and flip them, that sparked my interest. After high school I'm going to do what he did and fix Mercedes. Sorry for the long story.

Crossfire SRT-6
I was going to buy a beautiful red '03 SLK32 with about 40000 miles for $25k 3 years ago, but I found my SRT6 with 2300 miles for only $21k and couldn't resist. Been a happy camper since.

Newbie
Hi guys I am a new Mercedes owner.
I have always owned a German car and most recently been a massive Audi fan.
I thought all German cars were the same but then I test drove my CLK and boy I was impressed.
I don't think anything gets as close to build quality as MB.
I have been looking around forums and this seemed to be the most helpful and full of banter!
