I have searched this forum and noticed some interesting info on carbon fiber hoods. I have a deep scratch and many stone chips on the hood of my C43 and was wondering instead of spending the $ to fix the scratch and chips, it may be better to invest in a carbon fiber hood. Plus I will have some weight reduction and it looks cool. I have some questions:

1) Is a carbon fiber hood available for my C43?
2) Will the CF hood offer much better scratch and chip resistance?
3) Is the hood secure at high speeds? Is safety compromised?

Any info appreciated.
